We recommend using dust cups with the punches to provide a secondary barrier to the upper punch seals. This also prevents oil & other debris from contaminating granulation and ensures production runs smoothly and cut back on cleaning time.
All the dust cups are made with approved pharmaceutical-grade material that are specifically selected for their stability, wear-resistance, cleaning & flexibility. While these are an optional accessory, their benefits far outweigh their price.
We also manufacture bellows with the same pharmaceutical-grade material, which prevents lubricant contamination and black spots on the tablets. Bellows cover the extended part of the punch barrel keeping the lubrication better separated from the product.
